Monthly Gathering
1:00 pm
Sat, May 12, 2012
All aboard! Come one, come all to CAM's May Gathering at EnterTRAINment Junction! There are two sections of the Junction. Section one is The Train Journey -- ninety large G-scale trains are running everywhere, immersing visitors in a 25,000-square-foot environment. More than two miles of track take visitors on a panoramic journey through three distinct epochs in U.S. history, from the earliest days of steam engine railroading up through today's modern diesel locomotves. The layout includes railroading's early period (1830s through the Civil War to late 1890s), the middle period (1900 to 1950s) and the modern period (1960s to the present). Section two is The Fun House. The new circus midway experience will feature such attractions as the region's only mirror maze, a discombobulating spinning vortex tunnel, a hilarious tilt room, the astonishing Ames Room, a confusing curtain maze, a claustrophobia hallway, an illusory endless corridor, and more. We invite our gifted children and our Super Saturday youngsters to join us in this walk through American history. We will meet in the parking lot at 12:50 (if raining, in the main lobby). A fun time should be had by all! The cost is $15.95 for both train journey and fun house (two-for-one-ticket sales for our trip). For just the train journey the cost is $12.95/adult, $11.50/senior, $9.95/3-through-12-year-olds. For fun house it is only $9.95. Locaton: EnterTRAINment Junction is off I-75, 30 minutes north of downtown Cincinnati and 25 minutes south of downtown Dayton, at the Tylersville Road exit (#22). Go East, then right on Kingsgate and right on Squire Court. 7379 Squire Court, West Chester, OH 45069, 513-898-8000. If you have questions, contact . |
