Essence of Reality, 7 p.m.
February 16, 2009
Tom Nehrer, Western Pennsylvania Mensan, will speak on
Monday, February 16th, in a free event hosted
by the St. John’s Unitarian Church in Clifton.
As he did at the Winter Wonderland RG, Tom will present
perspectives from his new book, The Essence of Reality, exploring
consciousness and its innate relationship to reality.
Tom notes how we each create patterns in our lives,
attracting certain relationships, experiencing recurring health issues,
tending to succeed or fail in fulfilling our intent.
He illustrates how outer problems in all such areas are
rooted in one’s own mindset – explaining how to delve
inward to accomplish change and spur improvement.
Religion, science and philosophy, will be regarded in depth
and Tom never holds back in exposing inaccurate and
self-defeating notions, however culturally entrenched.

Play Night, 8 p.m.
February 20, 2009
Come out and see fellow Mensan, Ray Smith,
perform in his latest play, the farce "Epic Proportions".
It's the height of Hollywood glamor of the 1930s where two
brothers are slated to be extras in a huge Biblical epic, Exeunt Omnes.
Things go awry on the desert set when the brothers meet
the assistant director in charge of extras, Louise, and hilarity ensues.
Included are gladiator battles, the Ten Plagues
and a "cast of thousands" played by four actors.
Ray says that as one of the four actors that means he's
playing at least 250 people during this show, or maybe just half a dozen.
Details: the show runs February 20, 21, 22, 26, 27 and 28
at 8:00 pm except the Sunday show which is at 3:00 pm.
Village Players
has limited seating, so it's recommended
that you buy tickets in advance (now!) at 859-392-0500.
Check the CAM email list or contact
to see if a group is forming to see the play together.
