Heidi Macneal has returned as our Program Chair and has once again planned a great lineup. Offerings will be listed below, in the order of the speaker's last name and with specific program and speaker information included. You can also click here for a pdf version of the RG schedule grid (when we are closer to the RG). Note: changes to the schedule may occur. Please check the date on your copy to be sure it is the latest one.

Dr. Thomas Algeo, University of Cincinnati will be speaking about Biodiversity Collapse. Lessons from the largest mass extinction in Earth's history, and how these relate to changes in today’s environment. Friday at 8:00 PM

John Klug will be presenting information about Facial Expressions for People with Asperger's/Autism and those who love them. How learning facial expressions of emotion and body language can help those on the Autism spectrum.

Skinner will be hosting a Hell’s Ms Meet & Greet Have you ever wondered what those black tee shirts are all about? Attend this meeting for current and potential Hell’s Ms and find out. You will hear what is going on with the party SIG. If you don’t already know you will learn what we are, how we got started, and what we do.

John Klug will talk about Crocodile Tears: Jokers and Psychopaths O DEVIL, DEVIL! IF THAT THE EARTH COULD TEEM WITH WOMAN'S TEARS, EACH DROP SHE FALLS WOULD PROVE A CROCODILE. OUT OF MY SIGHT!" Susan Smith, Scott Peterson and Jimmy Swaggart all cried for the victims they ate. Ted Bundy and a host of assorted others showed no empathy or remorse for those they destroyed. Watch Out! Mark Curnutte will present A Promise in Haiti and Beyond "My presentation will address how I came up with the idea for the book and executed it, logistically, and from reporting and writing standpoints. I will discuss how I was led to Haiti and to the book idea and how the experience on the ground in Haiti has affected my Enquirer work as a social issues and minority affairs reporter."

Eric Marschall will be presenting Meme a Little Meme of Me What is a meme? An internet meme? Is it funny? YES! CAM's own Eric "Sna(r)ck" Marschall will be walking you through the history and current internet memes so you're caught up on your web references. Basically, we're going to watch YouTube videos and look at graphics and laugh. WARNING: Internet memes are based on satire and snark and span all aspects of culture; we'll keep it as close to PG-13 as we can, but those easily offended should probably view other talks in this slot.

Skinner will be speaking on Hidden Resources - do I have any? One of the biggest untapped resources a person has is themselves. Finding those resources can be challenging and daunting. While everyone's search is personal there are some basic paths that everyone can follow to start with. Where they end only you can find out. This program is about showing you the starting point for several paths. There is no guarantee what you will find at the end of them.

Verona Bennetto, will be hosting the Needle Arts Meet & Greet Bring your needlework projects (knit, crochet, embroidery, quilt or other) to show off or ask for help. Share your favorite resources such as books, patterns, web sites and stores. No formal program, but instead an opportunity to learn from each other and to exchange stories of successes and failures.

Loaded dice, card counting, slight of hand… Sal is an expert on casino gaming, and casino cheating – and on catching casino cheats at their own, uhm… game. Come hear this dynamic speaker talk about his experience as a game protection specialist, and learn a little bit about mnemonics and memory along the way!

Niki Foor will be our host for Wine TastingTour de France: Bring a bottle of French wine to share. No need to spend big bucks; stop in a local wine shop and ask for a bottle of "Vin de Pay" (table wine) or an inexpensive Cotes de Rhone. Local wine shops will stock drinkable French wine starting at about $10 per bottle; sometimes even cheaper! Pick up a red, white, rose, or sparkling, and in the process, begin a relationship with your local wine merchant. Discuss the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) classification system and other sexy wine terms at the Cincinnati Tour de France!

Wish someone would recognize your size 16's for the true wonders they are? Wear your most outrageous footwear to the dance to be recognized.
